If you are using Winnifred’s, Andy’s or Bo Peep, you will want to work double stranded. ROSE: Fatter Sheep Yarn, Abbie’s Alpaca, Andy’s Merino, Trixie’s Loopy Mohair, Woodland Spun, Mary’s Little Lamb, Lumpy Bumpy Yarn by Charlene, Cotton Blossom Yarn by Dixie, Bo Peep Not Just for Socks Yarn, Winnifred’s Washable, Fannie’s Fingering, or I Am Allergic to Wool by Farmhouse Yarns, LLC, 75 yards main color plus 20 yards for leaves. Supplies: BELT: Belt buckle of your choice, photos above shown with a 3” round buckle, and with a 1-1/2” rectangular buckle. You will also need US size G crochet hook. ROSE: Crochet hook appropriate for your yarn, Tapestry needle, Safety Pin if you want to use your rose as a brooch. Sizes: BELT: whatever width and length you need. Examples above shown 3” wide in Fall Flowers colorway and 1-1/2” wide in Slate colorway. ROSE: Size of rose ranges from 2” in diameter for the finer gauge yarns up to 6” in diameter for the bulkier yarns. Gauge: BELT: approximately 4 single crochet and 3 rows to the inch. ROSE: does not matter. Skill Level: BELT: Easy—basic skills in crochet required. ROSE: Intermediate—basic skills in crochet required.
