Yarn: Andy’s Merino or Roxanne’s Mohair by Farmhouse Yarns, LLC, total 3 (4, 5) 200-yard skeins. You may use Lumpy Bumpy Yarn by Charlene by Farmhouse Yarns, LLC, 4 (5, 6) 150-yard skeins. Example in photo on left was worked up in Andy’s Merino Natural, alternated with stripes of Lumpy Bumpy Yarn by Charlene in Natural. The example was worked up in Roxanne’s Mohair, Sugarplums and Butterscotch colorway with random stripes of a contrasting mohair yarn. Needles: US size 9 circular needle, 24” long or size to achieve gauge. Gauge: 4 stitches per inch in ribbing worked in the round. Sizes: Size Small finished measurement 33” around at rest (fits bust 32”-34”) and 16” top to bottom edge, Medium finished measurement 35” at rest (fits 36”-38” bust) and 16-1/2” top to bottom edge, size Large finished measurement 37” at rest (fits 40”-42” bust) and 17” from top to bottom edge. This garment has a lot of ease (stretch), so it fits nicely over the shoulders for the normal physique. Extra sizing (and yarn) will be necessary for ladies with plus-size arms. Skill Level: Easy |
